The Pentagon has stopped using Anthropic's AI tools.

Even after officials called the company a supply chain risk and set a deadline to phase out its services, Anthropic's Claude model was reportedly still used in some military operations against Iran until recently.

The Pentagon wanted certain safety limits removed from the AI for more flexibility, but Anthropic pushed back over ethical concerns.

Pentagon turns to Google and OpenAI

After labeling Anthropic a supply chain risk (a move the company is now challenging in court as "unprecedented and unlawful"), the Pentagon is turning to other tech giants like Google and OpenAI for AI options.
