Plaksha students' AI rover steals the show at PIS 2026
Technology
Punjab's big investor summit just turned into a tech fest, thanks to students showing off some seriously cool robotics and AI projects.
Team Kalki wowed everyone with its rover, a smart machine that blends engineering and biosciences to explore tough terrains all by itself, using advanced cameras and sensors.
Another highlight was AUV-MINA, an underwater robot
The Kalki rover isn't just for show. It can collect soil samples and send real-time data for things like healthcare or emergencies.
Plaksha University's crew also impressed with AUV-MINA, an underwater robot guided by Dr. Sandeep Manjanna. It uses AI to map the ocean floor and check underwater structures, all while being budget-friendly for research.
