Realme's first-ever truly-wireless earbuds, the Realme Buds Air, is set to go official in India on December 17. Over the past few days, several leaks and teasers have confirmed some of its key features including an AirPods-like design, bass-driven drivers, seamless connectivity, and wireless charging support.
And now, a fresh leak has revealed the specifications and the pricing of the earbuds.
Going by the leaked spec-sheet (via Gizmochina), the Realme Buds Air will offer 17 hours of battery life including the charge stored in the carry-cum-charging case.
For audio, it will come pack 12mm DBB (Dynamic Bass Boost) drivers and will support AAC codec. The earbuds will also support "Intelligent Touch Controls" and support wear detection to play/pause music when you plug-in/remove them.
Further, according to teaser images, the Buds Air will look like Apple's AirPods with an in-ear design, glossy-looking plastic body, and a metallic ring at the bottom of the stem. The earbuds will come in Yellow, White, and Black colors with a matching carry-cum-charging case.
The Realme Buds Free will also feature Dual Mic ENC (Electronic Noise Cancellation) for audio calls (not music streaming) to offer superior sound quality.
It will also support Bluetooth 5.0 and offer easy pairing with smartphones. The earbuds will even have built-in support for Google Assistant that can be used to control music and manage calls via voice commands.
According to a pre-mature Flipkart listing (via NDTV Gadgets), which has now been pulled down, the Realme Buds Air will cost Rs. 4,999 in India. At this competitive price, the earbuds will take on the likes of Apple AirPods and Google's upcoming Pixel buds.
