Samsung published details of its March 2026 security patch for Galaxy phones and tablets, addressing 65-67 different vulnerabilities.

Most of these are Android-related, but a few come straight from Samsung's own software.

Eight critical issues were fixed

Eight of the issues were labeled "critical," targeting potential exploits in the Android system and some Samsung components.

Just a heads up—this update is all about security, so you won't see any new features or changes to how your device works.

Rollout will take a few weeks

The rollout is expected to happen over the next few weeks to eligible Galaxy devices, with monthly-tier devices prioritized.

This patch is separate from the upcoming One UI 8.5 release, so don't expect those new features just yet if you're waiting on them.
