Samsung Galaxy S25 series gets One UI 8.5 beta update
Samsung just dropped the One UI 8.5 beta for its Galaxy S25 series phones.
The update landed on December 8 in countries like Germany, India, South Korea, Poland, the UK, and the US.
If you're curious to try it out early, you can grab the beta through the Samsung Members app.
What's new?
This beta packs handy upgrades:
Photo Assist lets you edit pics without saving every change;
Quick Share makes sending photos to friends nearby super simple;
and Audio Broadcast beams your voice straight from your phone to LE Audio devices around you.
Security gets a boost
Worried about privacy? The new Theft Protection feature keeps your data safe if your phone goes missing.
There's also a lock that kicks in after too many failed logins, plus extra ID checks before changing sensitive settings—so your info stays yours.
Better file sharing across devices
Managing files is easier now with Storage Share—you can pull up files from other Galaxy gadgets right inside My Files.
Whether it's on your phone, tablet, PC or even a TV, everything just connects more smoothly.
