    Samsung to launch Galaxy Tab S6 in India soon
  • Samsung is all set to launch its high-end Galaxy Tab S6 in India sometime soon.

    In the latest update, the South Korean tech giant has posted a teaser image from its official Twitter handle, hinting at the arrival of the flagship tablet.

    To recall, it was launched globally in August and offers dual rear cameras, under-display fingerprint sensor, and flagship grade internals.

  • As far as its specifications are concerned, the Galaxy Tab S6 comes with a conventional rectangular design with sizeable bezels surrounding the screen.

    On the rear, the metallic panel houses an S Pen slot wherein the stylus sticks magnetically and charges itself.

    In addition, it offers a 10.5-inch Super AMOLED display with a full-HD+ (1600x2560 pixels) resolution and an in-display fingerprint sensor.

  • In terms of optics, the Galaxy Tab S6 houses dual rear cameras comprising a 13MP (f/2.0) primary sensor and a 5MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide-angle sensor.

    The main camera supports HDR, panorama, portrait mode, and can record 4K videos at 30fps.

    On the front, the tablet houses an 8MP (f/2.0) snapper for selfies and video calling.

  • The Galaxy Tab S6 is powered by flagship grade Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor, paired with upto 8GB RAM and upto 256GB of storage.

    Under the hood, it runs Android Pie-based One UI and packs a 7,040mAh battery with 15W fast-charging technology.

    Also, the tablet comes with support for DeX mode, using which it doubles up as a conventional PC.

  • The Galaxy Tab S6 supports latest connectivity options including dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, and Type-C port. It also houses four AKG-tuned stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos technology but misses out on a headphone jack.

  • In US markets, the Galaxy Tab S6 costs $649 (approximately Rs. 44,780) for the entry-level 6GB/128GB variant and $729 (approximately Rs. 50,290) for the 8GB/256GB model.

    There is no word on the India pricing of the tablet as of now. However, we expect it to arrive at a similar price point.
