Security measures
Accessing backups requires a recovery key
To access your backup, you need a 64-character recovery key generated on your device. However, do note that if you lose this code, Signal won't be able to assist in recovering it. This is part of the app's commitment to privacy and security, ensuring that only you have access to your data.
