    What's the story

Since Reliance Jio disrupted the telecom industry, the competition has grown manifolds.

And in a bid to attract new subscribers and retain existing ones, telcos are updating their plans to provide more data and added benefits.

In the latest development, Bharti Airtel has revised its Rs. 399 postpaid plan to offer free annual membership of Amazon Prime and other benefits.

    Here's more about it.

    Benefits

What is Airtel offering in the Rs. 399 postpaid plan?

Under the revised plan, Airtel is offering unlimited national calls, 100 daily SMSes, and 40GB monthly 3G/4G data with rollover facility of up to 200GB.

More importantly, the plan also comes with free annual membership of Amazon Prime which costs Rs. 999.

Additionally, the telco is also offering a free subscription to Wynk Music, Airtel TV and a Rs. 51 Amazon Pay Gift Card.

    Information

Airtel is also offering Rs. 50 discount for six months

As an addition to the aforementioned benefits, Airtel is offering a flat Rs. 50 monthly discount on the bill for six months. This means that this Rs. 399 monthly plan will cost you Rs. 349 for the first six months.

    Process

How to redeem the free Amazon Prime membership?

To redeem the free Amazon Prime membership with your postpaid plan, open your Airtel TV or My Airtel app.

On the Airtel TV app, click on the Amazon Prime banner on the home screen and follow steps to claim free membership.

On the My Airtel app, click on 'Airtel Thanks' banner and then on 'Amazon Prime' membership option to redeem your free Prime membership.

    Benefits of Amazon Prime Membership
