UIDAI drops new Aadhaar app for iOS and Android

UIDAI just launched a fresh Aadhaar app for both iOS and Android, now in early access.
You can finally carry your Aadhaar on your phone, verify it instantly, and use it for stuff like banking or college admissions—no more digging through files.
The app's up for grabs on the Play Store and App Store.

Digital sharing made easy (and safer)

The app lets you share your digital Aadhaar using QR codes or verifiable credentials, but keeps your full number private by masking it.
Handy if you manage family IDs—it stores up to five profiles linked to one mobile number.
Authenticate using a face scan or biometric, as supported by your device, and set a security PIN.
There's also biometric lock/unlock built in, so your data stays protected until you say otherwise.
