X launches pilot for AI-Generated Community Notes

X (formerly Twitter) is testing AI-generated Community Notes to help users get quick, helpful context on posts.
These notes are written by "AI Note Writers" and will only show up if people actually find them useful—so you won't see random or irrelevant info crowding your feed.
