You can soon get groceries delivered to your Airbnb
Airbnb is piloting a new grocery delivery feature with Instacart, so you can order snacks and essentials straight from the Airbnb app.
The pilot kicks off in January 2025 in Phoenix, Orlando, and Los Angeles—making it easier to settle in when you arrive.
Guests can place orders ahead of time
Guests can place Instacart orders up to three weeks ahead of their stay.
Hosts who accept and stock these deliveries before check-in get $25 per order, plus a $100 bonus for their first one.
It's designed to make stocking up way simpler for both guests and hosts.
A billion-dollar move for Airbnb
This move is part of Airbnb's push to compete with other travel platforms like Tripadvisor and Booking.com.
CEO Brian Chesky says these new services could bring in over $1 billion a year, showing Airbnb is serious about being more than just a place to book a bed.
