  • Group B table toppers Iran were handed a shocking defeat by Poland at the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.

    The Polish team out-ranked Iran in every aspect and won the match 41-25 inflicting two all outs on the Asian team, something which never happened earlier in the tournament.

    Poland's captain Michal Spiczko led the team from the front and got 12 points in the match.

    Skipper Aruduzzaman Munshi scored 17 raid points for Bangladesh as they inflicted a tournament high seven all-outs on Australia.

    Bangladesh kept themselves alive in hunt for the semis' spot with the win. They will face Argentina in the final group match on 19th October.
