India kept their semi-final hopes alive as the host team defeated Bangladesh 57-20 in the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.
It was an easy win for India with the defence and raiders putting on a tremendous show and inflicting total four all outs on Bangladesh.
For India, Ajay Thakur picked up 10 raid points while Pradeep Narwal got eight.

Favorites Iran survived a huge scare before winning 33-28 in the Group B match against Kenya at the 2016 Kabaddi World Cup.
Kenya gave a tough fight and were trailing by just two points with the last couple of minutes remaining in the game; however, Saeid Ghaffari's successful raid increased the margin and Iran won the match.
This was Iran's third consecutive win.

India climbs top spot in Group A

As India defeated Bangladesh in their third match at the tournament, India climbed to the top spot of the points table in Group A with 11 points. Korea is on the second place after playing two matches.
In Group B, Iran continued to dominate the table with a win against Kenya. With 15 points, Iran is placed first, followed by Kenya with six points.
