La Liga: Ronaldo saves Real Madrid against Las Palmas
Cristiano Ronaldo's 86th and 89th minute goals rescued 10-men Real Madrid against Las Palmas to end the match in a 3-3 draw in La Liga at Santiago Bernabeu. Tana (10'), Jonathan Viera (56') and Kevin-Prince Boateng (59') scored a goal each for Palmas. Madrid was left with only 10-men after Gareth Bale was sent off with a red card in the 47th minute.
Barcelona destroy Sporting Gijon 6-1
Lionel Messi, Luis Suarez and Neymar were all on target as FC Barcelona thrashed Sporting Gijon 6-1 to win their fifth consecutive La Liga game at home. Messi opened the account for Barca with a superb header, with Saurez scoring a 27th minute goal after a self goal by Juan Rodríguez. Paco Alcácer and Ivan Rakitic also scored a goal each for home team.
Villarreal clinch vital victory against Osasuna
Villarreal clinched a big 4-1 win against Osasuna at the El Sadar Stadium to get into the fourth spot at the points table in La Liga. Roberto Soriano and Roberto Soldado scored a goal each, and Santos Borre scored twice for Villarreal.
Barcelona on top of the points table again
FC Barcelona climbed on the top of the La Liga points table. Barca are at the first place with 57 points from 25 games, followed by Madrid with 56 points from 24 games. At the third place are Sevilla with 52 points. Atletico Madrid and Real Sociedad are at the fourth and fifth place with 45 points each.

Deportivo La Coruna and Atletico Madrid will meet each other in the first match tonight, while Sevilla will be up against Athletic Bilbao in the second fixture of the day.
