The Indian cricket team beat Bangladesh 2-1 in the recently-concluded T20I series and win the trophy. After going down 1-0 in the series, Team India won the next two games to show its authority. Former Pakistan legend Shoaib Akhtar praised Rohit Sharma & Co. and said India showed who the boss is in the series decider in Nagpur. Here's more.

How did the third T20I pan out?

On Sunday, after being asked to bat, India scored 174/5. The likes of Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul impressed for the hosts with their dazzling fifties. In reply, Bangladesh lost two quick wickets. However, Mohammad Naim (81) impressed and scored freely. But Bangladesh collapsed after his dismissal. For India, Deepak Chahar (6/7) claimed the best-ever figures in T20I history. It included a hat-trick.

'India have proved who the boss is in the match'

After the game, former Pakistan pacer Akhtar heaped praises for the Men in Blue's performance. "India have proved who the boss is in the match. "I thought the 3rd T20I will be exciting to watch. However, India came out as a much better side but hats off to Bangladesh for their spirited performance," said Akhtar. He also praised the Bangladesh cricket team. "Bangladesh is no ordinary side, we all must remember that the Tigers are not going to choke in front of any team," Akhtar added.

'He [Chahar] is a mix of medium pace and seam'

Meanwhile, Akhtar also praised right-arm pacer Chahar, who was in top form in the match. "He is a mix of medium pace and seam and he displayed a commendable performance by taking a hat-trick in the game," said Akhtar.
