What's the story
India suffered another batting blip as they lost the second Test against England by an innings and 159 runs at Lord's. With this loss, India now trail England by a 0-2 margin in the 5-match Test series. England scored 396/7 in their first innings with Chris Woakes staying unbeaten on 137, and India were bundled out for 130. Here's how the match panned out.

Broad roars aloud to kill Indian defense
Stuart Broad gained authority, just when Cheteshwar Pujara and Virat Kohli looked like grinding it out in the middle. He broke Pujara's resistance with a ferocious in-swinger. 11 runs later, Kohli departed after offering a catch to debutant Ollie Pope. Dinesh Karthik's horror run continued as he was dismissed first ball after being trapped LBW. Earlier, he had dismissed Ajinkya Rahane for 13.

Anderson, Broad run riot at Lord's
James Anderson picked a five-for in the 1st innings and was instrumental after sending both Indian openers back to the hut. Broad then came into play to take 5 wickets in the Test over two innings. Indian batsmen played similarly to that of the 1st innings where they were bowled out for 107. Once again the swinging ball created enough problems to hurt them.

Stat attack - England dominate with fierce show
Pujara has been bowled 20 times in his Test career. This is the highest number by an Indian batsman since his debut. Broad dismissed Rahane for the 8th time in Test cricket. Anderson has gone on to pick 26 wickets against India at Lord's. He also leads with the most wickets taken between the two sides in Tests (96). He overtook B Chandrashekhar (95).

Murali Vijay has a Test match to forget about
Murali Vijay entered the record books after becoming the third Indian opener to be dismissed for a pair in England. Pankaj Roy and Virender Sehwag were the previous victims. He was also Anderson's 550th dismissal in Tests and the 150th of an opening batsman.
