He was also terrific for Vijay Merchant XI against Vijay Manjrekar XI in the KC Mahindra Shield U-19 tournament, finishing with 6/70. The promising youngster had picked up 19 wickets in five matches in the 2017-18 Cooch Behar Trophy as well.

Our take

Arjun has a promising future ahead: Our take

The 19-year-old recently impressed for the Aakash Tigers in the Mumbai T20 League. He is shaping up well and the exposure to play in different conditions will be helpful. The youngster's target will be to keep putting in the shifts. With youngsters such as Shubman Gill and Prithvi Shaw getting chances at the top level, one hopes that Arjun will get a call-up soon.
