    What's the story

Australia won the fifth and final ODI by 49 runs via the DLS method, to overcome England 3-2.

Hosts England scored 309/10 in 49.2 overs. In response, Australia were going along at 165/2 in 20.4 overs before rain stopped play.

Notably, Matthew Short's blistering half-century atop meant Australia were ahead of the par score at County Ground, Bristol.
