#CookRetires: Players who had a dream farewell Test

Alastair Cook signed off in style with the bat after innings of 71 and 147 in his final career Test match. England are on the verge of clinching a mammoth win against India in the 5th Test at the Oval. If the hosts win, they will seal the series 4-1. We look at some former legends, who had a dream farewell Test.

Jacques Kallis- South Africa versus India, 2013

The best all-rounder of all time, Jacques Kallis was a revelation. He played his final Test against India in December 2013. He scored 115 in the final innings of his career to finish with 13,289 runs besides picking 292 scalps. It was also his 45th Test ton. SA won the match by 10 wickets as Proteas trounced Men in Blue comfortably.

Sachin Tendulkar- India versus West Indies, 2013

Almost entire India watched the legendary Sachin Tendulkar play his final Test match. India were up against the West Indies in Tendulkar's hometown Mumbai. Tendulkar smashed 74 in his final innings as India batted just once to beat the West Indies by an innings and 126 runs. Sachin finished with 15,921 runs and the knock of 74 was his 68th fifty in Test cricket.

Muttiah Muralitharan- Sri Lanka versus India, 2010

One of the best ever spinners in world cricket- Muttiah Muralitharan went out on a high in his final career Test match against India at Galle. He picked a five-for in the first innings that included Tendulkar's scalp. He then finished with three more in the second as Lanka won by 10 wickets. Murali ended with 800 Test wickets to his name.

Glenn McGrath- Australia versus England, 2007

Glenn McGrath is probably the best pacer Australia have produced and his final Test at Sydney was another spectacle. In the 2007 Ashes Test, Glenn broke the England's middle order to end with 3/67 in the first innings. He then took 3/38 in the second, as Aussies beat England by 10 wickets. He ended his career with 563 Test scalps.
