Dale Steyn destroys a fan for trolling him: Details here
South African pacer, Dale Steyn played an important role for his side in the successive Test and ODI series victories against Pakistan at home. The Proteas won the Tests by a 3-0 margin and then sealed the ODI series 3-2. One Pakistani fan tried to troll Steyn by reminding him of thrashing he received at the hands of Babar Azam. And Steyn dismissed him.
You sure need some comfort after that spanking by Babar Azam in the Test series.— BernaLeo (@MQunClub91011) January 31, 2019
Steyn picked up 12 wickets in the Test series and also became the leading wicket-taker in Tests for Proteas. He has 433 scalps to his name. The veteran appeared in three ODIs and he chipped in with some wickets. The cricketer is not participating in the ongoing T20I series against Pakistan. He is expected to play a big role in the upcoming World Cup.
As he made a comeback to cricket after a series of injuries, Steyn said, "Not so long ago I didn't think that I would be playing cricket again. When I broke my shoulder I had this real drive to come back, but it took a long time. It took a solid six months before I could bowl again. There was no momentum."
Steyn is just five wickets away from reaching the figure of 200. In 124 ODIs, Steyn has 195 scalps. He averages a healthy 25.92. South Africa have a solid pace bowling attack going into the World Cup and Steyn is a prominent figure.
