Gareth Bale injured: Impending doom for Real Madrid?

Real Madrid squared off with their local rivals, Atletico Madrid last night in a match that ended as a goalless draw. However, the incident, grabbing headlines, is that Los Blancos forward Gareth Bale suffered an adductor injury in his leg. He was replaced by Dani Ceballos after the half time and did not play any further part in the match.

Bale's Real Madrid career has been marred with injuries

Throughout his career with Los Blancos, Gareth Bale has been out of action for long periods of time owing to injuries. He managed to play in only 19 league matches in 2016-17 and 23 matches in 2015-16. Bale's thigh and calf injuries severely hampered his career at his prime and continue to daunt him to this day.

Lopetegui worried with list of injured Real Madrid players

Real Madrid manager Julen has expressed his concerns regarding the increasing list of Real Madrid players who are out due to injuries. Bale, Marcelo, and Isco- three major contributors to Los Blancos' success are currently suffering from injuries. He has reasons to be concerned as they will be facing Moscow in their UCL fixture and Deportivo in the league matches this week.

Potential games that Bale might miss

Bale might miss Real's October 6 match against Deportivo Alaves, and their October 3 Champions League encounter against Moscow. He might also not feature in Wales' Nations' League match against Ireland on October 16.
