What's the story

Former Indian captain Harmanpreet Kaur has raced to her eighth century in Women's ODIs. The batting ace reached the three-figure mark in the second WODI against Zimbabwe at the BCA Stadium in Kotambi, Vadodara. Harmanpreet led from the front after two early wickets and took her team to safety. She also went past 2,000 runs in home WODIs during the course.

Knock

A sensational knock from the 37-year-old

India were reeling at 19/2 when Harmanpreet came on to bat.

She hit a flurry of boundaries around the ground, putting Zimbabwean bowlers on the back foot.

Alongside opener Pratika Rawal, who made 61, Harmanpreet added 124 runs for the third wicket.

The latter was then involved in a 153-run partnership with fellow centurion Deepti Sharma.

The 37-year-old eventually went down as the fifth batter, having scored 126 off 121 balls with the help of 15 fours.
