2019 IPL to start from March 23, here's the schedule

The BCCI has announced the schedule of the first two weeks of the upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). The T20 league is all set to kick off from March 23, with defending champions Chennai Super Kings taking on Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai. This edition will be played in eight cities. Here is the schedule of the first two weeks.

Which are the most interesting matches to look forward to?

The two most followed franchises in IPL, RCB and Kolkata Knight Riders will lock horns on April 5 in the evening slot. Mumbai Indians, captained by Team India's opener Rohit Sharma, will face MS Dhoni's CSK in Mumbai on April 3. The young squad of Delhi Capitals, led by Shreyas Iyer and Rohit Sharma's Mumbai Indians will collide on March 24.

Which is the strongest team in the tournament this season?

After their brilliant performance in the tournament last season, Chennai Super Kings again show the promise to go the distance this term. They have already won the title thrice and will be chasing a record-breaking fourth trophy. They have a talented pool of all-rounders and boast of match-winners like Suresh Raina, Dwayne Bravo, Shane Watson and Imran Tahir in their ranks.
