    India and Pakistan gear up for the biggest game of the ICC World Cup 2019 on Sunday at Old Trafford in Manchester. India are on five points from three matches, whereas, Pakistan have collected just three so far. Team India will be looking to enhance their 100% success rate against Pakistan in World Cups. Here is the statistical preview.

    Head-to-head records between the two sides

    The two teams have met each other on six occasions in the World Cup. India lead the show by a 6-0 margin. Their last meeting was during the 2015 World Cup. India won that match by 76 runs. In overall head-to-head ODI matches, Pakistan have the edge over India. The Men in Green have a 73-54 tally. Four matches didn't produce a result.

    Top run-scorers of India and Pakistan in World Cups

    For India, former legend Sachin Tendulkar has scored the most runs (2,278). He is also the tournament's leading scorer. Tendulkar amassed six hundreds and 15 fifties at 56.95. For Pakistan, Javed Miandad notched the most runs in the World Cup (1,083) between 1975 to 1996 in 30 innings. He smashed one ton and eight half-centuries.

    Top wicket-takers from India and Pakistan in World Cups

    For India, Zaheer Khan and Javagal Srinath share the record for the most wickets taken (44). They had a bowling average of 20.22 and 27.81 respectively. For Pakistan, Wasim Akram leads the show with 55 World Cup scalps. Akram has the third highest wickets in the World Cup. He averaged 23.83 between 1987-2003 and took one five-wicket haul.

    Old Trafford: Here's a look at the ground stats

    Graham Gooch has the most runs at Old Trafford in Manchester (405). Vivian Richards (189* versus England in 1984) has the best individual score. Sri Lanka (318/7 versus England in 2006) have the highest team total. Canada (45 versus England in 1979) have recorded the lowest ODI score. Bob Willis (15 wickets) has the tally for the most scalps here.

    Pitch report, TV listing and timing

    According to reports, there is a possibility of rain on Sunday especially during the afternoon. With rain on offer, both teams will be looking to field first. Pacers will have an important role here as batsmen need to play as per the situation. The match is scheduled for a 3:00 PM IST start. One can watch the match live on the Star Sports Network.
