2nd T20I, India vs Bangladesh: Preview, Dream11 and more

The Indian cricket team is in a must-win scenario in the second T20I against Bangladesh on Thursday. India lost the opener at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Sunday and will need to play better in order to square the three-match series 1-1. It will be a tough challenge for Team India against a spirited Bangladeshi outfit. Here's the match preview.

Conditions, pitch report and predicted winners

One expects rainfall in Rajkot tomorrow. The game could potentially be derailed by a cyclone in Gujarat. Maha cyclone is expected to bring heavy rainfall across the state. So we might not get 40 overs in total. The pitch here is generally suited for batsmen. India will be looking to produce more under stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma. They could offer stiff resistance and win.

India need the top order to fire against Bangladesh

India need the top order batsmen to deliver in this match. That's the strength of this side and somebody needs to take the initiative and produce substance. The likes of Rishabh Pant and Shivam Dube couldn't impress in the opener and will need to better their acts. India bowled well for most parts in Delhi and it's time for the batsmen to come good.

Mushfiqur Rahim key for the Tigers

For the visitors, senior cricketer Mushfiqur Rahim will hold the 'X-factor' yet again. Rahim enjoys a stellar record against India and is also fresh off a match-winning knock from the first T20I. He will get support from all-rounder Soumya Sarkar and left-arm pacer Mustafizur Rahman. Bangladesh spinners looked good in the first game and they will want to continue in a similar fashion.

Dream11: Here is a look at the side

We go with Rohit (captain) and Shikhar Dhawan as openers. Both these senior players will want to impress. Liton Das comes in next at number three. Wicket-keeper batsman Mushfiqur Rahim is the vice-captain. He gets help from Shreyas Iyer. Krunal Pandya and Soumya Sarkar are the all-rounders. Mustafizur, Khaleel Ahmed, Yuzvendra Chahal and Aminul Islam are the main bowlers on offer.

    Venue, timing and TV listing

The match will be telecast live on the Star Sports Network and is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM IST. One can also stream the match on Hotstar. The match will be held at the Saurashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Rajkot.
