West Indies all-rounder Andre Russell ruled out of PSL
West Indian Andre Russell has been ruled out of the Pakistan Super League. Russell, who represents Islamabad United, got injured in the very first over of the match against Karachi Kings. He suffered a partial tear in his right hamstring while fielding at long off. This was Andre Russell's first tournament since he was banned for doping violations.
Andre Russell will be gutted following the injury as he had just made a return to the game after serving a year long ban. In this edition, Andre picked up four wickets in three innings for Islamabad United. With the Indian Premier League next, Russell's injury comes at an unfortunate time.
