The 15th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) will get underway on March 26. Inaugural edition winners Rajasthan Royals will take on 2016 champions Sunrisers Hyderabad on March 29 at the MCA Stadium in Pune. A look at Sanju Samson's record as captain

Samson is one of the six captains to have led RR in the IPL. Notably, Samson was handed his captaincy in IPL 2021 after Steve Smith was released by the franchise. Samson led RR in 14 IPL matches last season, winning five and losing nine. He has a win percentage of 35.71.
