ISL 2021-22, Jamshedpur FC win League Shield: Key numbers
Indian Super League (ISL) outfit Jamshedpur FC have clinched the League Shield title by finishing top of the 11-team standings. This is their maiden League Shield title. Jamshedpur FC made their ISL debut in the 2017-18 season. They had never qualified for the playoffs until this season. They will face Kerala Blasters over two legs in the semis. Here's more.
Scottish forward Greg Stewart, who had played for Rangers previously, has netted 10 goals in the ongoing ISL 2021-22 season. He is the top scorer for Jamshedpur and has the joint-second best tally in the league. Stewart has also provided the most number of assists in ISL 2021-22 (10). 30-year-old Nigerian striker Daniel Chima Chukwu has netted nine goals as well for Jamshedpur.

Jamshedpur have registered the joint-highest number of clean sheets in the ISL 2021-22 season. They have seven clean sheets alongside Kerala Blasters. 29-year-old goalie TP Rehenesh has played 18 games, registering 37 saves so far. He has let in 19 goals. He has notched six clean sheets. He has also made 20 clearances. Rehenesh has a save percentage of 66.07.
Jamshedpur FC have the most number of points achieved by any team at the end of the league phase of a single ISL season. Owen Coyle's men surpassed the previous record of 40 points set first by Bengaluru FC in the 2017-18 season and Mumbai City FC in the 2020-21 season respectively. Jamshedpur achieved the mark by beating three-time champions ATK Mohun Bagan.
