Former New Zealand cricket team skipper Kane Williamson has unlocked another major milestone. With his fourth run in the ongoing 2025 ICC Champions Trophy game against Bangladesh, he completed 1,500 runs in neutral ODIs. Williamson became just the seventh Kiwi batter to accomplish this landmark. However, he was dismissed for 5(4) in the match being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

Playing his 29th game in neutral ODIs, Williamson has raced past 1,500 runs. His tally includes seven fifties besides five tons. While Williamson averages over 75 in neutral venues, no other batter with 1,500-plus runs has a 64-plus average in these games. Around 380 of his runs have come in UAE at 60-plus.

Earlier this month, Williamson became the second-fastest to score 7,000 runs in ODI history, accomplishing the milestone in just 159 innings.
