Sunrisers Hyderabad swept past Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens in match number 10 of the Indian Premier League 2018. This was SRH's third win on the trot in the 11th edition as they continue to remain the table toppers. Kane Williamson and Shakib Al Hasan batted well to steer their side against KKR. Former KKR all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan was the star player in this match. He picked two crucial wickets of Chris Lynn (49) and Sunil Narine (9) as he ended his 4-over spell with figures of 2/21. While batting, he shared a vital 59-run stand with skipper Kane Williamson that helped SRH get the momentum. Shakib scored 27 off 21 balls.
Not a good day for Russell at the Eden against SRH. KKR needed his exploits in the middle, but Russell played a loose shot and got dismissed. Prior to that he had hit a six.
