Alonso
Chelsea aim for stability under manager Xabi Alonso
Former Real Madrid and Bayer Leverkusen head coach Xabi Alonso agreed a four-year contract to be manager of Chelsea FC.
His role started from July 1.
"Chelsea is one of the biggest clubs in world football and it fills me with immense pride to become manager of this great club," said Alonso.
With no European football, Chelsea will eye a top-four finish this season.
Jaissle
Can head coach Matthias Jaissle uplift Newcastle United?
Newcastle United announced the appointment of Matthias Jaissle as their new head coach.
He took over from Eddie Howe, who recently left the club. Newcastle finished 12th last season and will aim to improve despite losing key players.
Jaissle had a successful stint in Saudi Arabia. He helped Al-Ahli win the Saudi Super Cup in 2025 and AFC Champions League in 2024-25 and 2025-26.
Rose
Marco Rose will aim to continue Iraola's work at Bournemouth
Marco Rose came in as head coach Andoni Iraola's replacement when the latter announced in April 2026 that he would be leaving.
Bournemouth qualified for the UEFA Europa League under Iraola, having finished sixth last season.
Rose took charge in the summer on a three-year contract.
Rose was out of management since being sacked by RB Leipzig in March 2025.
