Star couple Sania Mirza, Shoaib Malik expecting their first child

Ace tennis player Sania Mirza just announced her pregnancy on Twitter in the cutest way there is. Mirza and her cricketer husband Shoaib Malik got married in 2010, and are all set to welcome their first child. The tennis player tweeted a picture of a wardrobe, which had a onesie hanging and had Mirza Malik written above it.

Remember when Sania Mirza spoke about her pregnancy?

In the past 8 years, Sania Mirza has been probed over pregnancy a lot of times. When Rajdeep Sardesai asked her about 'settling down' during a 2016 interview, Sania replied, "You don't think I'm settled?" Notably, Sardesai admitted he wouldn't have asked it to a male athlete and apologized on National Television. Sania had said, "I'm so glad, you're the first journalist to apologise to me."

Will tell everyone about it when it happens: Sania Mirza

"No matter how many Wimbledons we win or number ones in the world we become, we don't become settled. But eventually, it will happen. And when it does happen I'll be the first one to tell everybody when I plan to do that," Sania had said then.

Sania keeps her promise, announces baby's arrival

Just like she promised on the TV interview, Sania Mirza herself told about her pregnancy, without letting gossip-mongers fuel speculations. As soon as Mirza made the announcement, her social media was flooded with congratulatory messages from her well-wishers. Pakistani cricketer Fawad Alam wrote 'Congratulations Bhabhi' on Sania's tweet. We wish you the very best, Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik!
