Rajasthan Royals (RR) could emerge as a strong contender for Stokes's signature.
The inaugural IPL champions have been hunting for a dependable overseas all-rounder to bolster their middle order and provide some overs with the ball.
In the 2026 season, they tried Shimron Hetmyer and Dasun Shanaka in the fourth overseas slot but neither delivered consistently.
Notably, Stokes played for RR between 2018 and 2021, also scoring a century.

Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) could be an intriguing destination for Stokes. They have been eyeing a solid all-rounder after Andre Russell's exit.
