The Rock is undoubtedly one of the greatest WWE superstars to have ever stepped foot in the ring.
Being a Hall of Famer, he never failed to impress and still continues to have a loyal fan base.
While he may not be a regular in WWE anymore, owing to his Hollywood commitments, he has certainly left a mark.

His entire family is into pro-wrestling
While The Rock might have been born and raised in the USA, everyone is aware of his Samoan ethnicity.
Samoans have a rich history of performing in pro-wrestling. Interestingly, Rock's whole family is into pro-wrestling.
Starting from his grandfather Peter Maivia, to his father Rocky Johnson, along with other prominent Samoans like Yokozuna, Rikishi, Umaga, and many more, his family has produced several stars.
Rock has been arrested multiple times
While The Rock has enjoyed immense success in WWE, he had a rough life prior to joining the promotion.
In fact, he was involved in petty crimes. He was arrested eight to nine times, before the age of 17.
After being thrown out of his apartment at the age of 14, he joined a gang and targeted tourists to loot their valuables.

He holds a Guinness World Record
Little does anyone know, but The Rock has also scripted his name in the record books outside WWE, that too with Guinness.
When he made his Hollywood debut in the movie The Scorpion King, he was paid a whopping $5.5 million for the role.
To date, it stands as the record offer to be made to any lead actor for his debut Hollywood movie.
He owns his ring name 'The Rock'
Although popular as The Rock, his actual name is Dwayne Johnson.
While he mostly uses The Rock for in-ring purposes, he refrains from using it outside WWE and commonly refers himself by his original name.
It was reported earlier that WWE and Rock co-owned his ring name initially.
However, later, Rock became the sole owner of his name, along with his catchphrase and logos.
His book featured in NYT Best Seller
The Rock has inspired a number of people, both in the world of pro-wrestling and outside of it.
As a result, he penned down his story in his book The Rock Says..., even before his started his acting career.
Penned by Joe Layden, the book was on the top of the list for several weeks in The New York Times Best Seller.
