India to tour Zimbabwe for T20I series in July: Schedule
What's the story
Zimbabwe Cricket has confirmed that India will tour the country for a three-match T20I series in July this year. The matches will be played at Harare Sports Club, with the first game scheduled for July 23. The second and third matches will be held on successive days (July 25 and 26). This will be India's first visit to Zimbabwe since a five-match T20I series in July 2024, which they won 4-1.

Zimbabwe Cricket Managing Director Givemore Makoni said the upcoming series is a great opportunity for the team and its fans. He said, "Matches against India always generate enormous interest, and this is a fantastic opportunity for our players to test themselves against the world champions on home soil." Makoni also added that following their encouraging performances at the ICC Men's T20 World Cup, this series gives them a strong platform to build momentum.

Zimbabwe to tour India in January 2027
Earlier, the BCCI had announced that Zimbabwe would also tour India in January 2027 for a three-match ODI series. This will be their maiden bilateral visit to India since 2002. Zimbabwe's last encounter against India was the 2026 T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8 game in Chennai. They lost by 72 runs while chasing 257, with Brian Bennett scoring an impressive unbeaten 97.
