#Ibra500: Zlatan Ibrahimovic scores his 500th career goalLast updated on Sep 16, 2018, 04:40 pm
The Swedish football legend, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, scored his 500th career goal while playing for LA Galaxy in their match against Toronto FC.
Notably, the landmark goal by Zlatan came in a losing cause.
This makes Zlatan only the third, among active footballers, to reach the 500-goal mark.
The other two individuals are Leo Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.
Here's more about this achievement.
Ruler of the world: Zlatan scored wherever he went
No other world-class player has changed clubs as often as Zlatan
From Ajax, Juventus, AC, and Inter Milan, Barcelona, United, to PSG- Zlatan has shown he is the boss.
He is one of the most decorated footballers, as well, with 33 trophies to his name.
His 500th goal came in the most Zlatan-esque way possible- with a roundhouse kick.
Goal distribution: When and where the strikes came
Zlatan started at Malmo (18 goals) and then moved to Ajax (48 goals).
Then came Juventus (26 goals), Inter Milan (66), Barcelona (22) and AC Milan (56).
Zlatan netted in 156 times for PSG.
Moving to United, he scored 29 and with LA he has scored 17 times.
He has 438 club goals and the other 62 came from his international appearances for Sweden.
