Things got tense at the United Nations after Jordan's King Abdullah II accused Israel of breaking international law in Gaza and the West Bank.

Israel fired back, reminding everyone of a 1988 move when Jordan stripped Palestinians living in the West Bank of citizenship.

The back-and-forth highlights just how complicated their relationship still is.
