- The 2022 Suzuki Swish 125 offers great looks, decent performance, and lots of features. It should attract quite a few buyers in the Taiwanese market.
- However, the vehicle is unlikely to be introduced on our shores as it is too costly. However, if it does arrive here, the competition in the two-wheeler segment will be raised to a great extent.
The 2022 Suzuki Swish 125 has a headlight-mounted front apron, a flat footboard, a stepped-up single-piece seat with a pillion grab rail, and arrowhead-shaped mirrors. The scooter packs an LED headlamp, a USB charging socket, a digital instrument cluster, and rides on blacked-out wheels. It is offered in three dual-tone color options, namely Black/Gold, Blue/Silver, and Silver/Red.
The new Suzuki Swish 125 is powered by a 124cc Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) engine that puts out a maximum power of 8.5hp and a peak torque of 9.6Nm. The mill is linked to a CVT gearbox.
To ensure the safety of the rider, the Suzuki Swish 125 is equipped with a disc brake on the front wheel and a drum brake on the rear one. It is unclear whether it also gets a CBS. Suspension duties on the scooter are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and dual springs on the rear end.
In Taiwan, the 2022 version of the Suzuki Swish 125 sporty-looking scooter carries a price tag of NT$ 82,200 (around Rs. 2.21 lakh). Details pertaining to its availability in India are currently unavailable.
