Aston Martin sells 50.1% non-car branding rights to Authentic Brands

Aston Martin just sold 50.1% of its non-car branding rights (think merch and lifestyle products) to US company Authentic Brands, as part of a £550 million cash boost led by HPS Investment Partners.
Now, Aston Martin's brand is split: cars and Formula One on one side, lifestyle stuff on the other.
Creditors owed £1.3B issue legal warning
Not everyone is happy about the deal. Creditors owed £1.3 billion say it breaks their agreements and puts them at risk if things go south financially.
They have issued a formal legal warning and are trying to block the sale, especially since some key assets were shifted offshore.
The final outcome could seriously shape Aston Martin's future moves.
