Ather scooters get pricier from January, but year-end deals still on
Auto
Ather Energy is bumping up its scooter prices by up to ₹3,000 starting January 1, 2026, blaming higher material costs and global supply issues.
If you're thinking of buying one, there's still time—current prices and discounts (up to ₹20,000 in some cities) last until the end of December as part of their "Electric December" offer.

Financially, Ather is trimming its losses: net loss dropped to ₹154 crore this quarter while revenue jumped 54% year-on-year to ₹899 crore.
They're also branching out—just launched a new insurance arm that'll team up with multiple partners to offer auto insurance across India.
Expenses are up too, but their operating loss has improved a bit compared to last year.
