    Bajaj launches a new split-seat variant of the Pulsar 125
  • As an addition to its line-up of Pulsar bikes, Bajaj Auto has launched the all-new split-seat variant of the Pulsar 125 in India.

    Priced at Rs. 70,618, the new model shares its mechanical specifications with the recently launched Pulsar 125 Neon. However, it gets a bunch of design updates.

  • The split-seat variant of the Pulsar 125 comes with a semi-faired design and offers split seats for more comfort. The bike sports blacked-out alloy wheels, engine, and split grab rails.

    It also gets contrasting decals around the fuel tank, tail section, front mudguard, and rim.

    Further, the motorcycle houses a semi-digital instrument console, halogen headlamps as well as turn indicators, and LED taillights.

  • This variant of the Pulsar 125 is powered by the same 125cc air-cooled, single cylinder engine which we saw on the Pulsar 125 Neon. The unit is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox and churns out 12PS of power and 12Nm of peak torque.

    Here's a look at the safety and suspension setup

  • The split-seat model of the Pulsar 125 comes equipped with disc brakes on the front, drum brakes on the rear, along with single-channel ABS for better road handling

    Also, the motorcycle houses conventional telescopic fork suspension on the front and a dual-shock unit on the rear to handle the suspension duties.

  • As for the pocket pinch, the split-seat variant of the Pulsar 125 is priced at Rs. 70,618 which is approximately Rs. 4,000 costlier than the Pulsar 125 Neon (front disc model).
