Bugatti unveils 1-off 'Destrier' hypercar for Monterey Car Week debut
Bugatti just dropped the Destrier, a one-off hypercar that transforms the wild Bolide into something way more refined.
It's part of Bugatti's ultra-exclusive Programme Solitaire lineup and will make its public debut during Monterey Car Week, which begins August 13, 2026.
Fun fact: Destrier is named after a medieval knight's prized warhorse ridden by medieval knights, so, yes, it's meant to feel legendary.
Diamond-dusted blue exterior, 1,578hp quad-turbo W16
The Destrier sits super low (just 39.4-inch tall) with a body built around the Bolide's carbon-fiber monocoque, bold C-line curves, and a sparkling blue finish dusted with diamond-like particles.
Inside, you get warm brown leather and copper-threaded details for serious luxury vibes, but don't worry, it still packs the Bolide's monster quad-turbo W16 engine pushing out 1,578hp.
Basically: race-car energy meets high-end craftsmanship.
