CFMOTO 700CL-X SPORT, with sporty looks and 696cc engine, launched
Chinese automaker CFMOTO has introduced its 700CL-X SPORT motorcycle in the European market. It is unclear whether it will arrive in India. As for the highlights, the bike has cafe racer-like styling and offers full-LED illumination as well as an LCD instrument cluster. It draws power from a 693cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine that puts out a maximum power of 70hp.

The CFMOTO 700CL-X SPORT has a muscular fuel tank, rider-only saddle, a side-mounted exhaust, a circular headlight, and clip-on handlebars with bar-end mirrors. The bike packs an all-LED setup for lighting, an LCD instrument console, and rides on five-spoke blacked-out alloy wheels. It can store 13-liter of fuel, has a ground clearance of 160mm, and tips the scales at 205kg.
The CFMOTO 700CL-X SPORT is powered by a 693cc, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin engine paired to a 6-speed gearbox. The mill generates a maximum power of 70hp at 8,750rpm and a peak torque of 61Nm at 6,500rpm.
In terms of safety equipment, the CFMOTO 700CL-X SPORT is equipped with disc brakes on both the front and rear wheels, along with ABS, cruise control, and two riding modes for better handling on the roads. Suspension duties on the motorbike are taken care of by 41mm KYB forks on the front side and a link-type mono-shock unit on the rear end.
In Europe, the CFMOTO 700CL-X SPORT carries a price-figure of €6,999 (around Rs. 5.9 lakh). However, the brand is yet to announce whether the cafe racer bike will make its way to India.
