Ford said it will reveal the Fathom, an all-electric truck rolling out in fall 2027 with a starting price of $28,350 ($29,945 with delivery).
This keeps it right under the $30,000 mark, part of Ford's push to make EVs more affordable and accessible.
Fathom offers BlueCruise and bidirectional charging
Built on Ford's new Universal EV Platform, the Fathom seats five and comes loaded with a high-res touchscreen, digital car key, bidirectional charging (so you can power other devices), and BlueCruise-capable driving.
It supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay (but not CarPlay Ultra).
The standard battery is lithium iron phosphate (mileage details aren't out yet).
Production kicks off in Louisville, Kentucky, with pre-orders opening early 2027.
