    What's the story

Honda is offering attractive benefits on its Activa 6G scooter in India, barring the 20th Anniversary Edition variant.

These deals can be availed in the form of 100% financing at a low rate of interest (6.5%) and a 5% cashback of up to Rs. 5,000 on EMI transactions via an eligible credit/debit card. A low down payment scheme of Rs. 2,499 is also available.

    Design

    Recalling the Honda Activa 6G

The Honda Activa 6G sits on an underbone frame. It has an indicator-mounted front apron, a flat-type seat, and a silvered grab rail.

The scooter packs an analog instrument console, an all-LED setup for lighting, an engine start-stop switch, a silent starter, and rides on alloy wheels.

It has a kerb weight of 107kg and a 5.3-liter fuel tank.

    Information

    Power and performance

The Honda Activa 6G draws power from a BS6-compliant 109.51cc air-cooled engine with Programmed Fuel-injection (PGM-Fi) and Enhanced Smart Power (eSP). The mill comes linked to a CVT gearbox, and makes 7.68hp of maximum power and 8.79Nm of peak torque.

    Safety

    Safety and suspension setup

To ensure the safety of the rider, the Honda Activa 6G is equipped with drum brakes on both the front and rear wheels along with a combined braking system for improved handling on the roads.

The suspension duties on the two-wheeler are taken care of by telescopic forks on the front side and a 3-step adjustable hydraulic shocker on the rear end.

    Information

    What about the pricing?

In India, the Honda Activa 6G scooter starts at Rs. 66,799 for the base STD model and goes up to Rs. 70,044 for the range-topping 20th Anniversary Edition (DLX) variant (both prices, ex-showroom).
