Hero MotoCorp hits 125 million 2-wheelers milestone, launches special editions

Auto

Hero MotoCorp has officially rolled out over 125 million two-wheelers since starting up in 1985, making them the first Indian brand to hit this massive milestone.
They reached it on October 4, thanks to strong demand and a busy September with over 687,000 units shipped—up 8% from last year.
The Splendor series is still their top seller, and to mark the occasion, Hero dropped special editions of the Splendor+ and Passion+ with gray paint schemes and gold graphics, and the electric Vida VX2 with a commemorative badge.

Record dispatches for Hero in September

Hero isn't just sticking to petrol bikes—their electric brand Vida jumped in market share this September, climbing from under 5% to more than 12%.
Exports are also booming; sales nearly doubled compared to last year with models like Hunk 125R leading the way.
Plus, festive season demand and new model launches helped Hero set a global dispatch record this quarter.
If you're into bikes or EVs, there's plenty happening at Hero right now.
