Hyundai Creta's 3rd generation to feature hybrid powertrain

Hyundai is bringing a hybrid version of its popular Creta SUV in 2027.
This new model will join the existing petrol and diesel options, as Hyundai looks to grab a bigger slice of the fast-growing hybrid SUV market.

The Creta hybrid will run on a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine—similar to what you'll find in the Kia Seltos hybrid.
It's set to compete with other hybrids like the Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
Hyundai's aiming for the ₹15-30 lakh price range, keeping in mind India's current EV infrastructure and stricter emission norms.
An updated Creta Electric with new looks and features is also on the way.
