The top-end Z8L is priced at 19.49 lakh. According to the company, it is 45% cheaper than a similar D-segment SUV. The Z4 and Z6 start at Rs. 13.99 lakh and Rs. 14.99 lakh, respectively. The base Z2 diesel and petrol variants cost Rs. 12.49 lakh and Rs. 11.99 lakh, respectively.
Bookings start July 30
Mahindra will open the order books for the new Scorpio-N from July 30 via dealerships as well as online platform. Customers will get a time window of up to 14 days in case they want to change their preferences and variants of choice after the booking. The deliveries will commence around October, during the festive season.
Under the hood
Mahindra Scorpio-N draws power from a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo-petrol engine that makes 168hp of power. A 2.2-liter mHawk diesel motor is offered in two tunes: 128hp and 158hp
Big changes inside the cabin
Teasers and spy images have revealed the interiors of the Scorpio-N. It gets a two-tone dashboard, premium leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, and a sunroof. On the tech side, the changes are plenty, including a Sony sound system and a large, touchscreen infotainment panel.
What's new in terms of design?
Mahindra has completely revamped the new Scorpio-N and hence a fresh nameplate too. It bears a muscular bonnet, LED headlights with C-shaped DRLs, a large with chrome slats, and a wide air dam. There is also a new Twin Peaks logo up front. The front fascia is inspired by the XUV700.
