Mahindra, Tata, Maruti Suzuki to launch electric SUVs soon
Big news for anyone eyeing an electric SUV—Mahindra, Tata, and Maruti Suzuki are all set to drop their new models in the next few weeks.
Mahindra kicks things off with the XEV 9S on November 27 (their first-ever three-row EV), followed by Tata's Sierra EV, which will be showcased later this year after its ICE version launches on November 25.
Maruti Suzuki wraps things up with the e Vitara debuting December 2.
What's cool about these new EVs?
Mahindra's XEV 9S packs a triple-screen dashboard, Level 2 ADAS features, and a Harman Kardon sound system—all built on their INGLO platform.
Tata's Sierra EV is expected to share battery tech with its Curvv and Harrier siblings but keeps that classic Sierra look.
Meanwhile, Maruti's e Vitara comes in two battery options (49kWh and 61kWh), offers AWD with up to 184hp, and is already being produced for export—showing just how serious these brands are about India's growing EV scene.
