Maruti Suzuki revives Grand Vitara CNG in India
Maruti Suzuki has relaunched the Grand Vitara CNG in India, with prices from ₹13.48 lakh to ₹15.62 lakh (ex-showroom).
Under the hood, you get a 1.5L Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine that puts out 87 BHP and 121.5 Nm of torque in CNG mode, paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Features and safety tech
Inside, there's a big 9-inch touchscreen, wireless charging for your phone, and ventilated front seats—pretty handy for Indian summers.
Safety-wise, you get six airbags, ESP for stability on tricky roads, ABS with EBD for better braking control, and Maruti claims an impressive fuel efficiency of 26.6km/kg.
Competes with Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Hyundai Creta
The Grand Vitara CNG is aiming at buyers who want an affordable SUV packed with features and solid safety tech.
It goes up against popular options like the Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and other models generally considered competitors in the compact SUV segment, such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Hector, and Tata Harrier—so there's plenty of competition if you're shopping around.
